“What I appreciate most about being a Methodist is that we love everyone…we welcome all. There is culture in our religion, bu tless rules like other religions. I can be myself. And I am loved by the members of RUMC, my grandparents Berean friends and mom’s Sunday School Class (Builders). I always feel at home in Chapel Roswell. God speaks to me when I need him, I feel his presence. I always pray for others before myself; it is overwhelming empathy I have that puts most first. I am his servant.”

“Christ has been very prevalent in my life. I love the opportunity I have to go to Fellowship Christian School, to learn and incorporate Christ and appreciate the little things that God has put in this world. Having a personal relationship with God is so important and having people around me that believe the same thing. My small group leader has been with me since 6th grade. Having someone older to talk to is helpful because he recently was a high school student; he understands what is happening today.”

He was a part of the Children’s Ministry and then a regular attendee at Kid Zone (1st-5th grade), Youth Group (6th - 12th grade), Middle School Camp Counselor (10th grade) and gave devotion at TMD (12th grade). Outside of church, he served through food drives and coat drives with his high school football team, and as a camp counselor many summers. Yes, plays on the school football team (served as captain), played on the baseball team and in the Interact Club at school. All while achieving a 3.8 GPA! “RUMC and all of its resources have helped me grow so much in my faith as I have moved through middle school and high school. With constant involvement from mentors, I have been able to grow in my faith in ways I could've never imagined. I have been able to move into leadership opportunities like giving a devotion at TMD. I am not ashamed of my faith, and I posted a testimony video on my Instagram to let others know that. Without RUMC giving me the foundation of God in my life, there is no way that I am the person I am today or the follower of Christ that I am.”
